SEOUL, KOREA – The Korean government will invest over KRW one trillion in R&D projects this year. In particular, KRW 40.3 billion will be spent to nurture 5,200 energy experts. The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) said Sunday it will set aside a total of KRW 1 trillion to promote the energy industry’s technological innovations and secure new growth engines.

SEOUL, KOREA – Gwanggyo Techno Valley will become a full-blown, state-of-the-art energy grid complex. On Monday, the Gyeonggi Small Business Center (GSBC) announced that Gwanggyo Techno Valley was selected as a beneficiary of the K-MEG (Korea Micro Energy Grid) project, which has been pursued by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and Samsung C&T Corporation to steel Korea against energy crises.
