The 87th story of a full-length business novel.

Further, they added that:

“Now, the peninsula has been divided by the two Korean forces; the South Korea and the North Korea, for more than a half century. So, each of the two is weaker than the unified Korea in force. So it is easy to defeat and capture each one by one and step by step. Such things are the focal point to notice and take a note.”

All the explanations centered on how to capture the peninsula step by step. Then the books came to a conclusion that:

“From all the points of view, now is the best time to preempt the peninsula. Then a profitable business will be forged in the coming future. Besides, the peninsula abuts against the main Asian continent. Now the continent has been owned by China and Russia. And there, a lot of huge businesses have thrived in the name of joint venture. From this point of view, it will be part of the world design for the lucrative business in the future to capture the Korean peninsula. Don’t miss it.”

In this way, the books urged the readers to do something and not to hesitate it. Then they suggested some farfetched ideas that:

“In a sense, doing something in this way might be a far-out idea. Yes, it is not an old-fashioned idea. For instance, there was a unique artist in Spain. One time, he was nobody. But he was full of far-out ideas beyond the common people’s imagination. Then he got a chance to meet someone who was influential with great fortunes. He recognized his potential. Strongly sponsored by him, the artist got a great chance to demonstrate his unimaginable ability into the city plan. Then he transformed a featureless city, Barcelona, into a most fascinating town in the world. All of it was due to nothing else than his unimaginable, far-out ideas and his unhesitating attitudes. So the city has been a grotesque but marvelous city in the world beyond the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida, the USA. Now the worldwide tourists are eager to see the marvel City and stay there. In all the far-out idea and its daring action have become a huge lucrative business for the Spanish people. All of it resulted from the far-out idea by a farseeing Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi. Like him, vaunt your skill with the far-out ideas. Actions are needed urgently.”

<Sino-Japanese War>           <Russo-Japanese War>

In these days, all the worldly-wide powers know of it very well. So they fully understand what the suggestion means. And they nodded and thought inside that all the explanations in the books were interesting and intriguing. Of course, it was natural that all of it satisfied their voracious appetites. Then they came to be interested in the Korean peninsula. And they decided to translate their hidden mind into action as if they had been another unique artist like Antoni Gaudi. From then on, they began to read and read the books in depth with more interest.

Meanwhile, they encountered other phrase books on Korea. All the books were written in English even if their translations were still limited. But, the description on the Korean peninsula was enough for understanding. The focus centered on why the past Sino- and Russo-Japanese Wars broke out in the late 19th century. Here, the books gave the background information as below:

“In short, Korea was surrounded by China, Russia and Japan in the Far East. So the peninsula was located in the center among the powers. Thus, Sino-Japanese War happened in 1894 and Russo-Japanese War in 1904. The main purpose of the Big Wars was to take the initiative over the peninsula. Then they intended to use it as a stepping stone into other Asiatic areas. Right here, Korea became the epicenter of their major battlefields to advance their forces. That was the main point, that is, why the Wars happened.”

Then the books ran down about the history of Korea as below:

“After the Big Wars, Japan won the ultimate victory over Qing China(淸) and Russian Empire. Here, Japan proved out that she was a perfect predator among the wolf pack. On the other side, Korea was a forceless decoy like deer or impala. Then Japan took it in her hands as the final victor. Afterwards, Japan advanced into the main Asian continent by using its geographical advantage as a stepping stone.”

Further, the books gave vivid war records specifically. Indeed, those explained how Japan won China and Russia as below:

“Before the Big Wars, Japan did not stand by and watch the serious situation among the powers. Then Japan did something favorable for her side. First, she seized major Korean towns compulsively without compunction. Then Japan occupied throughout the peninsula as if Korea had been her protectorate. There was no bargain with Korea (then Chosun) for the use of her property.”

In short, the books explained that Korea had an important merit geopolitically, that is, a springboard for the victory in war. Then they continued explaining the main cause of the Japanese victory against China and/or Russia in detail as below:

“With the War broken out, the Japanese infantries landed the peninsula quickly and crossed the Yalu (압록강, 鴨綠江) in a moment. Then they advanced into Manchuria for the preemptive attack against China and/or Russia. At the same time, the Japanese navy occupied the harbor Inchon and other cities without delay. Then the Japanese army and navy attacked Chinese or Russian headquarters by land and sea amphibiously, that is, Lushun and Dairen in the Liadong peninsula. Further, the Japanese forces chased after Chinese or Russian troops. Thus they could have defeated Chinese or Russian great army successively.”

In this way, the books explained how Japan could win China and/or Russia. Once again the point in the books was that Japan exploited Korean cities and lands as a springboard or a stepping-stone for their sudden attack into Manchuria. And Japan won the Big Wars against China and Russia. (Below are the maps of the wars of Sino-, Russo-Japanese. Source: Wikipedia)

All of it was a good fortune for the current world powers.
