Seoul Korea - The Embassy of Denmark in Seoul reported that its yearly Christmas charity event with LEGO Korea on ended on a very successful note.
For this year’s event H.E. Danish Ambassador Thomas Lehmann visited the childcare institution Haesimwon in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on Friday, December 12th with a gift of LEGO toy sets. Each gift was prepared according to the various age groups of the 58 children and minors at the institution, ranging from below 7 years old to up to 19 years of age.
The Ambassador, who sat down with the children at the event and handed out gifts with Director Choi Pil Hwan of Haesimwon, wrote on the same day that the sea of happy faces made Friday his “best day as Danish Ambassador” on Twitter.
To the press Ambassador Lehmann further commented, “LEGO has been bringing joy to people of all ages worldwide with their toys for 82 years. I hope that the children at Haesimwon will have fun enjoying the early Christmas gifts prepared with love and care by the Embassy and LEGO Korea.”
The Embassy of Denmark has been collaborating with LEGO Korea in spreading Christmas joy to children since 2013.
