Seoul, Korea - Nongshim announced that it would launch ‘Tongmilcorn’, a churros-shaped snack with flavor of whole-wheat and cinnamon. Nongshim has a plan to lead the Korean sweet flavor snack market with this new product and Sumi Honey Mustard Chips.

Tongmilcorn is a snack made of whole-wheat and corn paste with cinnamon and custard cream powder on it, enhancing the flavor of whole-wheat, the fragrance of cinnamon and the sweetness of custard cream. Above all, condensed milk power with custard cream realizes the sweet flavor of churros overall.

“Churros is a typical snack which people enjoy having in delightful places like amusement parks and theaters,” an official from Nongshim said, “The concept of Tongmilcorn is that you can enjoy having churros at anytime, and anywhere.” He also added, “Tongmilcorn contains 23 percent of whole-wheat good for health so that it may be the right snack for children and teenagers.”

Nongshim is going to intensify targeting the sweet flavor snack market with a plan to develop a new product also known as ‘dessert snack’, which is based on popular refreshments among the youth.

The official said, “Following the Sumi Honey Mustard, Tongmilcorn is the second kind of Nongshim’s sweet snack series. With its launch, Nongshim will show a variety of dessert snacks like bakery and fresh juice snacks.”
