South Korea's largest telecom carrier SK Telecom said it is expected to post 2 trillion won in operating profits in the coming two to three years.
During the conference call on Tuesday, Hwang Geun-joo, chief of strategic planning division said, "The sales turnaround is expected in the MNO sector and the sales from the subsidiaries will improve."
"The operating profits of SK Broadband and SK Telink are steady and SK Planet is expected to improve in the mid and long term although its operating income is weak in the short term," he said.
As for the sales, "Additional sales growth is expected due to the increased use of data, the rise in LTE subscribers and the launch of diverse segmented products," he added.
