Harex InfoTech Inc, based on Seoul, South Korea announced that through an alliance with JEJU Bank, opens various O2O services such as mobile direct debit payment and order ahead service in JEJU Banking App. powered by UBpay, User Centric Platform.

Park, Kyung Yang, CEO of Harex InfoTech said on March 30, "Key feature of JEJU Bank Direct Debit Payment Service, User Centric Base, is as follows: When in payment, customer’s valuable financial information such as account no. and PIN is never passed to merchant and is never stored in UBpay or JEJU Banking App so it can perfectly block to any possible leakage of customer’s financial information. In addition, it drastically enhances both user and merchant’s convenience by smart integrated payment system (payment, rewards, loyalty, and coupons all in one) with only PIN."

JEJU Bank adopts a user centric platform, UBpay, so that customers of JEJU Bank do not have to download the UBpay app separately and easily use JEJU Bank’s Direct Debit Payment Service in many stores and payment cases such as CU (convenient store), Aladdin (on-line book store), cultural gift certificate purchase and utility payment for 8.5 million apartments, etc. Moreover, when you use coffee shops and restaurants in Jeju area, you can order and pay before you visit or order and pay at the table.

Harex InfoTech Inc. plans to work with JEJU Bank to expand its franchisees to major tourist attractions and famous restaurants in Jeju Island and is soon to open Smart ATM Service offering customer to make pre-cash withdrawal reservation (withdrawal amount, type of note, etc.) with its JEJU Banking App and to touch its smartphone to the ATM of either JEJU Bank or Lotte for the cash out.

Harex InfoTech Inc., through the alliance with local general hospitals in Jeju area, will also introduce ‘Medical FinTech Service’ that patient can remotely pay the bill with his/her smartphone for the medical service taken without waiting in the long line at the payment desk and electronic prescription is automatically transferred to the drugstore where the patient choose and pay the bill as the same way.
