SEOUL, KOREA – SK Telecom Co., the country's top mobile operator, said Thursday its first-quarter sales reached KRW 4.1 trillion (up 4% year-on-year) and operating profit stood at KRW 410 billion (down 18% year-on-year) on a consolidated basis.
Seoul, Korea - SK Telecom announced on the 21st that number of its LTE service subscribers has passed 10 million mark as of 19th this month. SK Telecom was the world’s fourth mobile carrier to have passed the 10 million mark, after Verizon and AT&T of the U.S. and NTT DoKoMo of Japan.
SEOUL, KOREA - It is estimated that the business profits made by SK Telecom and KT in the first quarter sharply dropped by 10~44% compared with the same period of the previous year as they spent a considerable amount of money on marketing activities.

Also, the service that allows LTE data packets to be shared by multiple devices is to be offered, free of charge.
